Product Description Introducing Razors new and improved E-100 Electric Scooter offering powerful fun at speeds up to 10MPH!
Amazon.com Product Description Cruise around the neighborhood in style with the Razor E100 electric scooter. Boasting a chain-driven, high-torque motor, and a handy twist-grip throttle, the E100 is the perfect device for pre-teens and teens wanting to zip over to a friend's house or head to the park. Unlike Razor's E300S and E500S scooters--whose motors start from a standing position--the E100 requires a small manual kickoff to 3 miles per hour before starting (the rider presses a trigger to engage the motor). Once the rider is on the move, however, the electric motor ramps up to 10 miles per hour--fast enough to have fun, but not fast enough to be a menace on the street or sidewalk. And thanks to the long-life rechargeable battery, which takes about eight hours to fully charge, riders can cruise for up to 40 minutes at a stretch. Other details include a folding handlebar mechanism for easy storage and transport, an 8-inch pneumatic front tire and 4.9-inch polyurethane rear wheel, and a hand-operated front brake. The E100 is recommended for ages 8 and older and offers a maximum weight capacity of 120 pounds. It also comes with a pair of 12-volt batteries, a charger, and tools and is backed by a 90-day warranty. The buyer and rider of the E100 scooter are responsible for knowing and obeying all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the riding and use of scooters. Key Features: - Powerful fun at speeds up to 10 miles per hour
- Up to 40 minutes of continuous use
- Chain-driven, high-torque motor
- Twist-grip throttle
- 125mm polyurethane rear wheel
- Rechargeable battery
- Hand-operated front brake
- 8" pneumatic front tire
- For Ages 8+
- Weight Limit: 120 pounds

So far so good. January 6, 2009 B. Wilson (Mesa, AZ, United States) My 6 year old really likes it. He can finally keep up with his 9 year old brother on his Razor 'Vespa' scooter. This was very simple to put together. 10mph is fast enough for my 6 year old. Some of the reviews cautioned about taking turns too sharp, as the scooter would scrape the ground at extreme angles; this has not been a problem at all.
Awesome Gift January 6, 2009 Dlinda Ray (Midland, TX USA) I actually bought two of these scooters for my boys (ages 6 and 11). Both scooters arrived exactly when they were supposed to. It took less than 5 minutes to put them together and get them charging. My boys love them. They are zooming all over the neighborhood. Great gifts for the money!
Had for over a year and no problems except one... December 12, 2008 Brian Biggi (Lumberton, NJ) Warning: Don't let your son or daughter skid with this scooter. The back tire is made of solid rubber. In the course of 1 day, my 9 year old son decided skidding is cool. After 10 or so good skids, the rear tire developed a nice flat spot on it. Now whenever he rides it, all I hear is thump, thump, thump, thump down the street so he pretty much stopped riding it. Now I have to buy a replacement wheel for $20 so I can pass the scooter down to his younger siblings. Other than that, it's been a great scooter. Based on the other reviews, it's basically hit or miss on whether you get a lemon with this scooter. Fortunately for me, I got one without all the electrical problems.
My son loves it. October 28, 2008 Mary L. Moreno (Houston, Tx) I bought this item a year ago, for my 10 year old son. He loves it, and we've never had any problems with it.
7-yr old son enjoys everything but the recharge time. October 9, 2008 Tanveer A. Khan 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My seven-year old son greatly enjoys riding this scooter. Everything is good except for the recharge time. We have to leave it up to charge the entire nite.
