Xenia's Playhouse July 12, 2010 Joan B. Smith (CHATTANOOGA, TN, US) My granddaughter absolutely loves her new Little Tikes Home and Garden Playhouse. It was purchased for her 3rd birthday. She loved the various gadgets; using the hammer and screwdriver; going in and out of the half gate and retrieving mail from the mail box. I bought her tomato seeds and flowers to plant in the flower boxes (since she lives in the South, she still have many months of planting left). What I would have liked added; (1) mail that could be opened (I could see from her facial expressions that she wished she could open the plastic letter) and (2) a door bell or bell of some sort (her dad will add a bell).Final word: She loved it!!!!!
Great Purchase! May 19, 2010 Anna Kirkwood (upstate ny) My kids love the playhouse! It took time and close direction following to assemble, but we have put together worse things.
Great Playhouse May 17, 2010 J. Geoghan (North Carolina) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a great playhouse. My kids planted flowers and enjoy taking care of them. I love that all 3 of them can be playing at the same time w. out being in each other's way. They love being able to take the fence apart. All the neighbor kids like to come play. The only complaint I have, the center height isn't very high. My oldest(4 yr old) is tall so she has to hunch over a little, but she still loves it. My family loves this house. Very easy to put together.
FUNNNNNNN for my toddler May 15, 2010 Paul Billingsly (Colorado Springs) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We were a little worried that this playhouse would be quite small and to our surprise it is much larger than expected. It is adorable and large enough for our little one to grow and play for the years to come! It is very open so you can keep a watchful eye on your little ones. There are two planters and some handy work for them to learn and explore also! For the price this product is excellent!! Some other reviews said assembly was very difficult, However, I found it not to be difficult more time consuming than anything (About an hour). I would recommend this product to all who are interested in this playhouse. Do not think you would be disappointed at all!
loooooove it! April 14, 2010 Renae Parker (Fayetteville, NC) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Just purchased this house last week.. it was a super big pain in the butt to put together, but that's what makes it great, there's so much to it! There's just a lot of screws to put in, (at least 40-50) but it all fits together well and you only have to do it once. The big plastic screws on the fence come apart easy for the kids to "build the fence" themselves. My daughter is only 11 months old, but she is playing with it as much as her level will allow and I know she will love it when she's a little older, we're going to wait until next year to plant flowers. She likes to crawl in the front door and out the back under the planter box and back around to the front. This house is the best you can find for the price, and I honestly think it offers more then most of the expensive ones, the only down fall is that it is on the small side, not more then 2 kids can play inside, however, the sides are open so more could play from the outside. Another plus, is the openness of the house lets air flow in the summer. Over all I would say that unless you have a lot of kids that will be using this house on a regular basis, this house is perfect in every way... from price to imaginative play and activities, it seems great so far.
