I did not buy this from Amazon, I got them at a local retailer. I went straight to the Hasbro website after I did a google search for "snuggimals". While I was there, it SHOWED the retail price of $7.99. So when I saw the price on these, I knew we wouldn't be getting them from here. These are super cute, my girls love them...I have this one and the basset hound. As far as any problems...they click when their tails wag...so I am constantly hearing this clickclickclickclick. It sort of becomes background noise, though. On their bottoms, where you would change the batteries, the fur is velcroed together and there is a HUGE tag with the product info. I tried to tuck the tag into the bottom so it wasn't hanging out (I only left it on just in case something happens and we need to return it in the first few weeks, I will likely cut the tags off after that) and as a result the velcro isn't quite as secure...but it's no Fort Knox at the best of times. Also, the only ones available in store were this, the basset hound, and the dalmation. So, there is less variety on shelves...but I will just keep my eyes out, cuz for $8...they're a ton of cute & fun for my girls (ages 6 & 2.5)

I hadn't realized even after looking at the descriptions that is this toy is so small it fits in the palm of my hand. In my opinion very over priced for a toy that wags it's tall and not much else. The only reason I gave it a 3 for fun is my daughter thinks it's cute as can be and enjoys having "my own baby puppy" Check this little thing out at the store first.
