I got this for my sister for Christmas and she really loves it. She still carries it around and plays with it all the time. I recommend getting a small purse of play diaper bag for the accessories. She loves pretending she's going somewhere with her baby.

My daughter ordered this doll with her Christmas money and it was money well spent. The doll is beautiful and the first time she said, "I love you, Mommy!", I thought my daughter was going to swoon! We were alarmed when we'd noticed in reviews that some Hispanic Baby Alive dolls spoke Spanish, but the desired language can be selected. To change the language, a button on her wrist is pushed. Because of the location, it can be bumped accidentally, but it's not a big deal to just switch it back. As has been noted in other Baby Alive reviews, it's MUCH cheaper to buy real newborn diapers, rather than the doll diapers. After seeing this doll, my daughter's twin brother remarked that he wishes there was a similar boy doll, which is high praise indeed, as he's eight years old and ALL boy. One negative (though I don't know how this would be avoided) is that dog hair clings to her soft little face. Again, it's just an annoyance, not a big deal.
