Lulu is the size of an actual cat, though her mechanical body is much lighter in weight, and she even sheds--thankfully not as much as a real cat, and you don't ever have to worry about allergies. Bought as a gift for my mother-in-law as a replasement for her late kitty. She was soothed by the purring and playfulness when petting it. Now it's an ornament in her livingroom.

My 4 year old daughter is cat mad, but as my husband is allergic to cats, we decided to buy her this toy cat for her 4th birthday present.
She loved it .. and spent the first few hours with a huge grin on her face. However, carrying it to take it to bed, she dropped it, and now it's broken! Less than 12 hours after unwrapping it, and it's lost half of it's "abilities". I not longer lifts it's front paw, meows nor rolls over. In fact, all it does is make grinding noises as the motors try to turn and will purr.
She is distraught that her new toy is broken, I'm gutted after spending a small fortune on it - especially as it's marketed for ages 4+. It really is not suitable for little ones to 'play' with so if you do purchase one, please insist that it stays on the couch etc, and not carried around.

I got Lulu for my eleventh B.day, (Yesterday) and I haven't lost any interest! I used to have a big gray fur real cat, named Precious, But I accidentally sold her in a garage sale. Lulu's a great replacement, and is way real! I've also always wanted a cat, but my mom, my cousin, my aunt, and my grandpa are all allergic. Lulu is purrin in my lap as I write this review. Fur-real has made some clunkers, but Lulu is far from one!

I bought this for my 7 year old daughter who loves cats and stuffed animals. I guess I imagined that she would fall in love with it. Not so! She barely looked at it before putting it on a shelf in her room, and there it stays. The stuffed animals that she really loves are in bed with her. A waste of money!

We received Lulu very quickly, she was in perfect condition, and we all love her. Great way to teach a young child how to care for a pet. Sort of a "test run" in preparation for the real thing. Minus the scooping of the litter box. And the catitude....
Thanks again for making the acquisition of this hard-to-find toy a reality for my little boy!
