Product Description
NOTE: We have more Excavators on their way, due to arrive by the middle of March. And, these are the last of those made in Europe since the merge of Sprig and the big American plastic toy company, Wham-O. Get 'em now, before they are gone! Digging, scooping, and dumping, this Eco Truck Excavator is ready to get to work! Sprig Eco Trucks are fully equipped with flip-open cabs and easy-grab handles, making each freewheeling vehicle inviting and a cinch to maneuver. Great for the sandbox, beach, or floor!

5 out of 5 stars Sturdy Trucks for Llittle Hands   February 1, 2010
S. Stahl (Chicago, IL USA)
These trucks are a great alternative to more expensive metal toys and other cheap plastic trucks. The big handles allow even little hands to operate them for maximum fun. My 3 yr. old grandson simply loves them. I would absolutely buy more of these quality trucks from this manufacturer.

We first saw these trucks at our local Childrens Museum and loved them! We are happy to own the entire line.

5 out of 5 stars Don't let the bad reviews deter you!   December 15, 2009

I think the people who had problems with the durability of these trucks got a 'lemon'. We have had ours now for about a year, and they get played with everyday, and we have had NO problems. The excavator can be somewhat difficult to use for the little ones. We have all three trucks, and several other sprig products and are now loyal customers looking for more! We buy them for gifts and everybody has loved them! They really do a lot of maneuvering and 'tricks' for non-mechanical battery- free toys. They were engineered really well. We love them!

4 out of 5 stars Great Excavator   December 14, 2009
R. Williams (Northern Virginia, USA)
I got this for my son when he was 2 to bring to the beach. He loved playing with them in the sand, as did I. We also bought the dump truck and loader and they too are great. He loves them and they have now been back from the beach and after a good washing are doing great. He does not use them in the dirt yet but I think as long as you do not actually try and excavate packed dirt and just use them in the sandbox they will stand the test of time. I love all the motions like the real tractor and he does too. Would recommend them 2 thumbs up unless you really are trying to dig out packed dirt then maybe you should try getting a real excavator as these are only toys! :)

4 out of 5 stars Sawyer's bday   December 10, 2009

The shovel is a little difficult for a 2 year old to operate, but when he gets alittle older he'll enjoy the digging and moving dirt with this truck. Plus this toy being made of recyclables makes me feel good about the purchase.
