Customer Reviews:
4 out of 5 stars helmet is cute but knee pads pretty useless   July 7, 2010
C. Stephens (Thousand Oaks, CA)
The design of the helmet got our son to wear it. It's a very cute "look."
The knee pads are nothing great. They quickly got tossed aside. Helmet is fairly small so if your child is older or has a large head it may not fit.

Only helmet that would fit my 2 year old (most are too big). The helmet is good and works as intended. Knee pads are junk and not a realistic option for getting them on and keeping them there. Just buy the helmet if possible.

4 out of 5 stars Go youth or adult for a bigger toddler   August 18, 2009

My three year old has a larger head than most kids his age and is a "big-boned" child, though he weighs 39 lbs. I ended up giving this to a friend as the helmet sat on the very top of my son's head and the pads were too small for his extremities...go with a youth or adult one if you also have a larger child!! Seemed fairly well-made the short time we had it!

1 out of 5 stars Ordered twice same problem CHEAP   June 17, 2009

I ordered this for my two year old son. I returned it TWICE becuase of the same problem. The cheap red sticker, which is supposed to hold the plastic helmet together is slapped on, and does not hold the two pieces together...making it very easy to peel the entire plastic Thomas portion off of the helmet.
