I have a Dapper Dan from the 1970's that has gone every ware with me, I'm not joking at 40 I still pack it when I travel. Anyway, I give either a Dressy Bessy to every kid born in my family and in the last about 20 years that I have been doing this I have not been disappointed with the quality of these toys ever. The ones a bought this year were every bit as durable an mine was when it was new in the 70's. I have one tip for parents though, NEVER PUT THIS TOY IN THE WASHING MACHINE! It will not survive the trip and you will end up with a destroyed toy and a screaming child, trust me on this.
Great overall toy January 9, 2008 K. Randolph 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is a great, low tech learning toy. It includes two buttons, a buckle, a zipper, and a hidden surprise in the interior pocket. The watch band and shoes offer chances to practice velcro, and the doll's hair ribbon can be tied and untied.
A great toy for a toddler learning to dress him or herself.
