| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description Children's Factory Playtime Island is a 360-degree play climber for 9 months old infants through toddler 3s. A 15" high center peak beckons small children to crawl, toddle, and conquer this inviting soft gross motor confidence builder. The Playtime Island Climber has 5" soft increments that reinforce comfort while stretching their potential. Just like climbing on a giant set of oversized blocks. Children's Factory manufactures all of the products we carry in their plant in Missouri. All Children's Factory educational toys and climbing blocks meet California TB117 Fire Retardant Standards. No lead or latex is used in these products. Children's Factory uses virgin (not previously used) materials to ensure top quality. The inside core is virgin urethane foam that meets all environmental and California Fire Code Requirements. Children's Factory buys this material in large buns and fabricates all sizes and shapes and configurations in their own plant under exacting quality control standards.

| Customer Reviews: Pricey but safe and fun indoor climbing October 21, 2007 GenXmom (San Jose, CA) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this island climber for my toddler when he began the climbing phase which many, many toddlers go through early on and which continues well into childhood until jungle gyms are no longer appealing. Climbing is a part of active children's lives -- that's a fact. To nourish the instinct to climb is necessary, as it allows balance, gross motor skills, fine motor skills, coordination, and so forth to develop properly. A soft climber like this is pricey, but I found it worth every penny because it satisfies climbing needs and combines fun with indoor safety. If I had an unlimited budget, I would buy lots of these to provide a safe exercise and climbing challenge at home (these toys are much better than stairs, you know).
The climber ships in several packages. The whole thing was easy to assemble, and the pieces are easy to take off for cleaning. The climber usually needs nothing more than a wipe-off to remain clean.
I would definitely and absolutely recommend this product or any climber from Children's Factory to moms and dads. Cost may be a turn-off for some, which is understandable, but you certainly will get use out of a climber if you have an avid climber at home.
