Second, it is a music device with 512 MB of on-board memory (able to hold about 120 MP3 or 240 WMA-file songs). Third, the Barbie Girl device acts as a "key" for girls who have a room on barbiegirls.com. Girls who have this device and who have physically connected them into one another's computer docking stations can become "best friends" and chat in "secret." It adds a more personal touch to the site experience and an extra layer of safety for parents. The device comes with a secret code, as well, that once entered on the site can allow its user to unlock additional pets, games, hangouts, fashions, and more. There are three games that can be played over and over, each one taking about 5 minutes to complete and rewarding players with 10 B bucks. Dazzling Nails lets you paint and decorate a set of nails (you can even select rings to go on the hand's fingers), and then allows you to print out the design so you can wear the nails, too. Mix a Music Video lets you choose one of five songs then add in an animated background, icon, and character to create a unique music video. I purchased a few of these over the holidays. My nieces and friends children loves these mp3 players. Yjey also love going on the website to create there own look. They also received the packs that you change their looks and its cppl as well. Overall great Mp3 children will love em.

I got this for my three year old and she loves it and it is very simple for her to use. It holds about 150 songs, more if they are short like most of the kid ones!

I am rating this toy based on its ability as an mp3 player,I don't know about the online barbie world.This is a great mp3 player.And its not just for little kids.Its realy easy to operate,and transferring music to this mp3 player is super easy.Be aware that it is not compatible with mac. It has buttons on it where you can fast forward, rewind, play, pause, and the volume controls.The volume doesnt go up very high and you can't view the song that you are listening to.It comes with ear phones with adjustable sizes,and it has different outfits that you can mix and match,the price is very affordable and over all it is a great mp3 player.

Our last Birbie Girls MP3 Player only lasted about 8 months until the sound no longer worked in one ear, but at these prices it's worth it for my 10 year old girl to buy another, she really enjoys the website that she has access to when she buys the MP3 Player.

I ordered this for my little sister on christmas. It came that same week! There was nothing wrong, no damages, and she still uses it so i can complain. It keeps her busy :) The last one she had was destroyed by our dog so i do not think these tiny things are very durable but thats somewhat obvious. I also wasnt sure how educational these were because as far as i know its some type of mp3 player they can play with online at a barbie website so i didnt give it many stars there. Other than that, it made her happy which makes me happy and shipped incredibly fast!
