Product Description Catch Zeus if you can! The great Greek god has bolted from Mount Olympus and it's up to you to nab this dashing deity. Play cards strategically, adding numbers as you climb up the mythic mountain. Grab Zeus when the total reaches a multiple of 10. Better yet, summon the strength of Apollo, Poseidon, or all-powerful Hera to bring Zeus within your grasp. Reach the top of Mount Olympus with Zeus in hand and you're a mortal among the gods. To play is human...To win, divine! Includes 60 cards, Zeus figurine and instructions.

Not as much fun as other Gamewright games. July 23, 2010 Shrinky Dink (Los Angeles, CA USA) My kids and I got bored with this game quickly. Yes, it has playing cards with Greek gods like Apollo and Aphrodite and Poseidon on them, and cool illustrations, so you'll hear those sounds coming out of their mouths and they'll learn to pronounce it af-fro-ditey... But that's about it. There are descriptions of who they are and what they do... in the instruction sheet, which will likely be quickly lost or destroyed. And kids don't like to read the instructions, in my experience. It's the only Gamewright game we don't like.
My kids weren't fooled... this isn't a game, it's a math lesson June 4, 2010 Mrs. Spumoni (Salt Lake City, UT United States) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
My husband bought this game because of the fabulous reviews. We have two daughters, ages 6 and 8. They're both good at math for their ages, but to them this game seemed more like school. The constant addition is not a side part of the game, it is the WHOLE game. We tried writing down the running totals, because they had a hard time keeping the numbers in their heads... but it was getting to be confusing and too much work for everyone. Granted the 6 year old had more complaints than the 8 year old, but neither one wants to play it again for a while, three or four years. They wanted to play Sleeping Queens instead.
zues on the loose April 15, 2010 Patricia Mcintire (Lebanon, ME United States) A little complicated until you play it a few times. Good practice with adding, subtracing. Need to be on top of it as it is easy to forget to pick up another card which can be frustrating for younger players.
Great for classroom fun! December 4, 2009 Jennifer Marvell (IL USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Got several of these for my 7th grade students to play at the end of our mythology unit. They LOVED playing it and didn't even notice how much math they were doing while playing the game. Was fun to hear them say things like "Hera - in your face" to other kids. Would have to say that the cards are made of pretty cheap materials (will have to replace the games every couple of years), but so fun and educational. Had several of the kids say that they are adding it to their Christmas lists.
Fun for my 10-year-old, his friends, and our family November 15, 2009 Teri S. (Austin, TX USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Great game! Lots of math (adding & subtracting, rounding to the nearest 10, reversing digits), as well as more strategy than it seems at first. My kid and his friends are way into Greek mythology, so it's fun to incorporate the gods and math into one fast-moving game.
