4 out of 5 stars Beautiful horses!   August 22, 2010
Lois E. Saupe (Sarasota, FL, USA)
These were a gift for my horse-loving 7 year old granddaughter. She was delighted with the variety of colors and breeds. They seem to be reasonably durable for a careful child of this age, but too fragile for a much younger or rough-playing child.

3 out of 5 stars Poor quality for the price   August 17, 2010
art girl
My 7 year-old daughter LOVES these horses. If she wrote the review, it would be 5-star. But as the person who paid for them, I am pretty disappointed by the quality of the horses. Some can't stand up on their own, and all of them are losing their flocking. My daughter has 2 other little horses which are identical to the ones in this set - and those came from the "Everything's A Dollar" store

It's a very cute little display case, and like I said, my daughter is tickled with them. But I wouldn't buy the set again.

1 out of 5 stars Awful - fuzz will be worn off in days...   April 2, 2010
Melanie R. Tennyson (portland, me)
Bought for christmas and within 2 days the "furr" was already wearing off and my kids barely played with them... STAY AWAY.

5 out of 5 stars Fun toy for pretend play   January 12, 2010
A Customer (Carmel, IN)
We bought this for our 4 1/2 yr old daughter for Christmas. She loves it. We have not had any problems with the hair or tail coming out. She enjoys lining them up and parading them into her toy castle. It's great that each of the horses has unique features; it helped her realize that there are different types of horses. These would be even cuter if they stood on their own.

2 out of 5 stars less than 5 days and falling apart!   December 29, 2009
Melanie R. Tennyson (portland, me)
It has been less than 5 days - with very little use/wear and 1 horse has a broken leg and 2 have bits missing... I will be looking into returning this... thought since it was melissa and doug it would hold up better...
